CALL FOR ART! The Denali arts and literature onli CALL FOR ART!

The Denali arts and literature online publication at LCC wants to publish your work! This is our 50th year anniversary of publishing student art and literature, and the tradition continues.

The theme this term is DECOMPOSITION.

Decomposition: the state or process of rotting; decay: the action of breaking, or breaking something, into smaller parts. To decompose in nature means to become, or to make something become rotten. We tend to think of words like decomposition as implicitly dark. But decomposition is an essential part of the nutrient cycle which allows finite organic matter to continue occupying our physical space. Without decomposition, organic matter cannot be recycled. As there can be no light without darkness, there can be no growth without decomposition.

Visit  denali.lanecc.edu/submit-work  for details.

All forms of art are encouraged for submission:
Fine art, sculpting, literature, poetry, music, & multimedia.

If you are not able to take quality photographs of your work contact The Denali to set up an arrangement with a photographer.
